The first new space invader of 2009 of AmsterInvader is an outlined Pac Man. The location chosen is slightly hidden and the colors used match the background – just to find out if now they will last longer than space invaders which are more obviously visible to the public.
Also the tile glue used is stronger than what has been used during previous invasions usual. This glue is suitable for outdoors and wet areas – like swimming pools and therefor much stronger. Downside is that it is more difficult to invade since the glue used is hard to apply on both Space Invader as on the location to-invade. Invasions are only succesful when finished in 20 minutes or less.

The location of this mothership (with 3 mirror tiles) was on my list for 2 years. AmsterInvader awaited however the renovation of the building on this corner. The reason of the fact that this one is placed a bit crooked is that the weather conditions were very windy during this invasion.

When scouting for a new space invader location in this area AmsterInvader fell in love with this spot on the corner. Not far from the deleted AI_039 this invader was installed about 20 minutes after the installation of AI_141.

For the second time AmsterInvader has chosen the island Kattenburg as a location for his project. In 2005 the now deleted AI_026 was located at the other side of this island. The design (Bear Invader) of this one was used before in 2006 (AI_053).
